Our Urban Development Team is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join us. We specialize in large capital improvement projects seeking a Carpenter with exterior faade, window restoration reframing and other carpentry experience. Most work is on-site, however all jobs do require in office reporting. The position would be expected to complete construction of a wide range of projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, according to requirements, and with the safety of employees, vendors, and the community as a top priority. An excellent candidate must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures, specifically construction of existing urban, multi-family residential structures. She or he will also be able to identify a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results and maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have a successful communication style and great organizational skills.


  • Must have the ability to read and understand plans thoroughly
  • You must be able to work unsupervised while being proactive, punctual, reliable and responsible
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Must pay strong attention to detail and adhere to schedules
  • Understanding of the highest level of quality and safety standards
  • Must have strong problem solving skills and be a team player


  • 7-10 years experience in carpentry
  • 30 OSHA training
  • CPR/AED certificate preferred
  • LEED training a plus
  • Must have your own tools
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Expertise in MS Office, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam is a plus


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is often performed in outside weather conditions.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
