Glassdoor is looking for an experienced full-stack engineer who excels at creating exceptional user-experience using client-side and server-side technologies. You will lead a small scrum team and have the opportunity to drive the development of features that are used by employers engaged on Glassdoors branding and recruiting platform (our B2B site). You will work in an agile environment, deliver features continuously to production, and collaborate closely with product owners and designers.


  • Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
  • 6+ years of experience with web back-end systems in a scalable production environment. You should be adept at working on server-side MVC applications
  • 6+ years of experience with front-end systems in a production environment, including established technologies like HTML5, Advanced JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS3 and more modern technologies like React, Angular, Express etc.
  • Knowledge about task runners and bundling tools like NPM, yeoman, gulp, browserify, webpack
  • Knowledge about CSS Preprocessors like SASS, SCSS, or LESS
  • Excellent coding practices including a solid understanding of design patterns and unit testing
  • Experience mentoring software developers to help grow their technical skills
  • Experience leading technical efforts and a proven track-record of success
  • Excellent communication skills, and experience collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
