Consumer Credit Risk Management in San Francisco, California

International Market Recruiters is currently recruiting professional candidates to handle a Consumer Credit Risk Management role for one of our Top Tier Financial Services clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing oversight and monitoring for our consumer loan portfolios
Provide leadership and guidance for the business in identifying credit risk issues and developing policies and strategies that address the risks.
Review and approve new products, programs and credit policies, complete a thorough monthly business review of credit performance, identify risks and opportunities in the current business model, and challenge risk policies when appropriate.
Work with key risk managers to establish and promote a common credit culture and credit risk management policy, procedures, and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of risk experience
5+ years Risk Management experience in consumer card or small business, preferably with experience in acquisitions and general analytics
Understanding of credit underwriting policy development and risk management strategies
Experience developing, evaluating, and enhancing credit policies / processes and risk strategies
Demonstrated understanding of the credit life cycle including the underwriting / fulfillment processes through to collection and loss mitigation operations
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and drive decision making through a consensus-building approach
Strong conceptual and quantitative problem-solving skills
An MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred
